History: 02jan2008 .. - now ................. VH-YAL; 27mar2002 . - 01jan2008 ........ N4295X; This aircraft was purchased from a military flying club in Lithuania in 1999. The purchaser was a gentleman from Salt Lake City, Utah. He had the aircraft shipped to Carl Hays in San Diego, where the airframe was disassembled, overhauled and re-assembled. The flight controls were re-worked and recovered with Stits fabric. The aircraft was painted yellow with red and black trim and big red stars.
