of all, what are pixels?
A picture exists
horizontally and vertically of so called pixels. To see
what this means, see this picture:
< this picture is 50 pixels width and 20 pixels height.
50x20=1000 pixels total
If we enlarge
a part of this picture, you can see what 1 pixel is exactly:

So,
with 1000 pixels (50x20) it's possible to show a
picture like below:

What
is the purpose of this action?
You buy 'pixels'
and 1 pixel stands for 1 euro. The deal is that for 100
pixels you can put a banner on the page with underneath
it a weblink (if desired) to your website. In other words,
advertisement which will stay untill at least till the 1th
of july 2011.

This picture is
1000x1000 = 1.000.000 pixels in size, and the goal
is that this picture will disappear underneath banners
(pictures). Totally we need 1 milion pixels and
those pixels you can buy. Bought pixels (banners)
will be placed over the big picture and in the end
the picture will be covered with banners. See <here>
the picture in original size with already a few
banners covering the picture.
Still a long way
to go but we are determend to cover de picture with
banners so the Yak-9 will be a fact in future.

Do you have
a banner of which you now the size (pixels horizontal x
vertical) and you want to put it on the page, than you can
use the lin k 'buy adspace' on top of the page. Upload the
banner and you will get an email with the ammount which
you have to 'pay' (is the same as the total of pictures
of your banner). With credit card you transfer and we will
cover the picture a little further with your banner.
Do you have
a banner but this is too big or you want to adjust it to
a suitable format (read: amount) than you can fix that yourself
or leave it to us. You email your banner, mention the desired
pixels and we will try to fix something nice. Also tell
us which weblink you want to go with the banner please.

without banner?
That's also
possible, appreciated very much, because also no banner
contenders contribute to the disappearence of the Yak-9
under pixels. You now already see some grey areas on the
top right of the page, these are sponsors which buy pixels
but have or don't want a banner or the amount of 100 euro
is too high.
On the website
you will find also a so called Ticker Tape (see above).
A Ticker Tape is nothing more than a scrollbar in which
the banner contenders and also the NON banner contenders
are present. For an amount of 15 euros (minimum, more is
always welcome) you can have your notification as you wish
in the Ticker Tape with under that an URL or emailadress,
whatever you want is possible.
