Why the Yak 52 ?

Initially was looking for a Yak 50 … but Véronique, Etienne’s wife enjoys flying along when they go places. Hence the requirement for the extra seat.  The back seat also gives us a chance to SHARE the JOY of flying aerobatics and formation in the Yak. The Yak is the most exciting piston aircraft available to the private flyer. Full stop. The Yak will spice up your flying to a degree you would’nt think possible. Because once you have tasted the pure exhilaration of Yak 52 flying, you will become addicted fairly quickly. The Yak is at home in the sky, and the “naturalness” of the environment is intoxicating. This is all about FUN !
To paraphrase Leonardo (Da Vinci !) : “When once you have tasted flight in a Yak (!) , you’ll forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will long to return”. The Yak is a magnificient beast. It’s powerful, crisp, has great presence and charisma, the M-14P radial engine producing a most beautiful growl. Put 2 or 3 Yaks flying in formation and you have a Concerto. The Yak has superbly light and well harmonised controls. It is a real Pilot’s aeroplane, a rugged and reliable FUN machine.

Give it a try. Come FLY with us !
